Local photographer of non-local rock 'n' roll greats, Joe Stevens, may not have a current exhibit up, but folks still want to know what he's up to. How are they going to satisfy their curiosity? Well, if they don't catch him on the streets of Portsmouth, they can always catch him on TV — Portsmouth's community TV on short stream that is. Dan Freund has created a 7 minute 16 second piece posted to www.shortstreamtv.com (bookmark it!) in which Stevens, the consummate name dropper, tells you all about Led Zeppelin, Loving Spoonful, Carly Simon, Peter Gabriel and lots more. "It's a nice little piece that he's put together," says Stevens in that charming NY accent of his that makes you just want to give him a big smooch.
